Along with the summer heat comes some of the best fruit of the year, so this month's recipe is a tribute to those wonderful flavors in a fruity, slushy cocktail that will cool you down. Enjoy this at weekend picnics and barbeques with a group of friends and you'll all be able to make it to Monday morning with no after effects. Cheers!
1 cup ripe strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup diced mango
1/2 cup diced peaches (about 1 medium ripe peach)
(Reserve some fresh fruit for garnish)
6 oz. cranberry juice
5 oz. light run
2 oz. dark rum
1/2 triple sec
4 packets PartiStartr™ hangover helper
Ice as needed
Add all ingredients to blender, blend until smooth (about 90 sec.). Garnish with a strawberry and another piece or two of fruit.
Makes 6 cups, approximately four 12 ounce servings.
